SOIL: Mediterranean of granite origin.

 

CLIMATE: Mediterranean, with a subtle continentality during Spring/Summer.

 

YEAR: 2013

 

ALCOHOL: 13, 5% Vol.

 

GRAPE VARIETY: Aragonês, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional.

 

WINEMAKING: Machine harvested grapes during the night to avoid high temperatures;

                             Imediately destemed grapes when inside the winery ;

                             Tanning fermentation in stainless steel open vats.

                             Aged for 4 months in Portuguese and French oak.

                         

TASTING NOTES: VISUAL: Concentrated dark red;

                                NOSE:  Intense and fruity aromas, vivid red fruits

                                FLAVOR: Soft and velvet feeling. Well structured, the tannins and the acidity are well  blended with the abundant fruit.

PAIRING: Perfect to pair with food dishes based on meat, sausages and cheese. It is also very nice to taste it

INFO: It should be served at a temperature between 16ªC and 18ºC.

           It should be stored horizontally in a dry and cool place.
