ORIGIN: Upper Douro

GRAPE VARIETY: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz e Tinta Barroca

 

ALCOHOL: 13,0% vol.alc.

 

YEAR: 2013

 

WINEMAKING: Machine harvested grapes during the night to avoid high temperatures;

                          Imediately destemed grapes when inside the winery ;

                          Tanning fermentation in stainless steel open vats.

 

STAGE: Vinified with temperature control in stainless steel vats.

               Aged for 4 months in Portuguese and French oak.

 

TASTING NOTES: Concentrated dark ruby color;

                               Aromatic intensity of fruits and flowers in good harmony.

                               Nice complexity elegant and long finish.

 

TOTAL PRODUCTION: 300.000 bottles

Pairing: Perfect to pair with food dishes based on meat, sausages and cheese.

               It is also very nice to taste it with small dishes of "Tapas" or just by it self.

 

Info: It should be served at a temperature between 16ªC and 18ºC.

         It should be stored horizontally in a dry and cool place.
